A single story open plan cosy cottage situated in a rural location less than 10 minutes from the Menai Bridge (Porthaethwy), it is the perfect getaway to explore the beautiful island of Anglesey (Ynys Môn). Take a short walk from the cottage and you’ll see the breath-taking views across Snowdonia (Eryri) and the Llŷn Peninsular (Pen Llŷn). *Please note that as the cottage is in a semi-rural area, you will need a car to get about, you cannot walk to any of the beaches from here*. There are many stunning beaches to visit on the island such as Benllech, Moelfre, Lligwy, Trearddur Bay, Rhosneigr and Llanddwyn, as well as the 124 mile stunning full circumferential coastal path. Beaumaris (7 miles) is a charming seaside town, and its castle, a United Nations World Heritage site built between 1295-1330. Menai Bridge town offers various good eating places such as Dylan’s, The Liverpool Arms, Freckled Angel, and The Anglesey Arms. The Four Crosses Inn is only 2.5 miles away on the outskirts of Menai Bridge where they offer a wide variety of food and drinks. Away from the Island, you will find the famous Zip World in Bethesda (12 miles) and the Snowdonia National Park. Betws y Coed (26 miles) is worth a visit, with stunning sceneries and activities.
