Imani Eco Sky Lodge Ngoc Chien

Imani Eco Sky Lodge is a small wooden house located on the very top of the hill, surrounded by mountains, valleys of corn fields, rice fields and buffalos. Here, you will not find modern electronic utilities or wifi. Instead, you will truly experience the simple life 100% connected to nature. The location is about 300km from Hanoi and 80km from Son La city. You can get here by bus or personal vehicle. It's totally off the beaten track so you will have great chance to discover the local life The space Imani Eco Sky Lodge is located on top of the hill, so you will get the best view from here. The mountains, the village, the waterfall, rice fields.… The lodge is designed in harmony with nature and surrounding. It was built by locals with almost natural materials (wood, bamboo, grass…). The lodge has many open space to connect with nature, big glass window and door allows you to enjoy the sunshine, wind and the wonderful mountain view. The lodge is one part of the whole land where I'm living, practicing permaculture, doing gardening and so many things for my self-sufficient life in the future. I have small garden, in which I grow veggies, herbs, fruit trees, flowers,..... You are always welcome to use anything from my garden for your cooking. Other things to note Compost toilet At Imani, we use Compost toilet (dry toilet, no water usage). Humm, don’t worry about the smell or hygiene. It's completely comfortable and hygienic. You will have great experience about it and you can enjoy the great view of the valley and the mountains from there. 😉 Wifi There's no wifi in my house. But no worries, mobile data is serviceable! Food You can use kitchen and cook your own foods, or we cook and have meals together! ☺️ I would love to show you some Vietnamese recipes. Location Imani is located about 1km far from the village. My advice is you should bring everything you need in advance for your convenience and comfort. The road up to my house is quite adventurous. It's small path, very steep and sinuous, around 1km and only convenient for motorbike drive or walking. If you’re a good motorbike driver and have a strong machine you can do it on your own, or you can simply walk up (20-30 min walking). Or I can organise you transportation, some of my local friends will be happy to drive you up!
