Isle of Ulva, small cottage, twin room

Twin and single room in cottage one mile walk from Ulva ferry. Garden with views Loch na' Keal and Ben More on Mull. Flora and fauna in wild abundance. Woodland, meadow and heather covered hill are home to at least 65 species of birds. The space I have a twin bedroom (two single beds) and a single room ( one single bed) They are not en-suite nor do they have T.V. or tea or coffee, they are very simple and basic rooms, clean and comfortable. Guest access There is a bathroom at the end of the hall which is shared with any and all who are in the house at the time. The kitchen is also a shared area were guests generally fend for themselves. Feel free to come and go as you please and use the facilities as and when you need to, but as other people may be about including your host, try to be tidy and considerate of other people. During your stay I will be about most of the time but there may be times when I am called away so guests are required to look after themselves, make there own breakfast or evening meals or a cup of tea during the day, A little independance will be required from most guests. Other things to note The price is £20 per person per night ( weather I am there to cook/prepare meals or not) Most guests prefer the independence of looking after themselves. There is nowhere to eat on the Island after 5pm, when the best seafood restaurant on the west coast of Scotland closes. Guests will have to bring there own food or inform me and I will cook up something. Ulva ferry is available Sunday to Friday 9.am to 5.pm, in the summer months. In the winter months the ferry is Mon-Fri, only.(No Ferry in the winter on weekends). There is no access to Ulva outside these times, if you are not on Ulva by 5pm you will have to find other accomodation. The ferry passage from Mull to Ulva is £6 return paid at the Boathouse restaurant (the best seafood in Scotland) on arrival. Bracadale is one mile from the pier over rough dirt tracks, good boots are a requirement.
