A classic 1914 Portland home with lots of character, updated kitchen, and cosy bedrooms, you're gonna love it! Cook in our fully-equipped kitchen, or try some of the great restaurants in our neighborhood—the famous Pip's Doughnuts, or Otto's pizza just down the street! We're in a quiet neighborhood in NE Portland, not far from the airport (12 min) right near the popular Hollywood and Fremont neighborhoods. The space A bright and airy 1914 craftsman cottage that you'll love! Updated, fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, hardwood floors, big dining room table, and outdoor dining space make this a charming place to stay. PLEASE NOTE: As typical in traditional Portland houses, there is NO CENTRAL AIR-CONDITIONING. If the weather is warm, the house can get warm, and the upstairs bedroom can get VERY warm. There is a portable air conditioner and fans for the upstairs bedroom, but in very warm weather, the upstairs may still be too warm for some. The downstairs bedroom (double bed) has a new, quiet, efficient window AC which works quite well, and there are additional fans for the downstairs rooms. Please book during summer months with the AC situation in mind. Thank you! Guest access You'll have the house to yourself, with access to the upstairs bedroom and the entire ground floor (kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom and another bedroom on ground floor). Other things to note Free on-street parking available. It's usually easy to find parking in front of house, but as there's a middle school across the street, parking can be crowded during school drop-off and pick-up times. We have security cameras on the front and back porches, that record both video and audio. Our standard poodle Luna lives here when we are home (we take her with us when we AirBnB the house out, so she won't be around when you're here). Although poodles don't shed (so most people with allergies aren't bothered by poodles) it's possible that if you have severe allergies it could bother you. The cleaning fee is for cleaning the house after you leave (we won't be doing any cleaning during your stay).
