The space We named our home Sunset Veranda. Its name is from the 3 verandas on the property. #1 -The front covered porch veranda faces a quiet street from which you can see the golf course. You will love the classic rocking chairs #2 - The courtyard veranda is off the kitchen and dining area. It features a 20 x 15 foot deck. #3 - The fire pit veranda is located in the backyard. Everyone's favorite place to enjoy the Texas sunsets and starry nights We have recently opened up our garage game room for our guests. It has a pool table, foosball table, dart board, corn hole set, playing card shoe for black jack, poker chips, tailgate golf set, etc. Please note that AC and heat are not available in the garage area. Pet policy: The only pets we allow on the property are dogs. The pet fee is $50 per dog per day. (Reduced fee for longer stays) You must tell the host the breed and size/weight. Limit 2 dogs but contact the host if you would like to bring more. Dogs left alone in the house must be kept in a cage/crate. Dogs love our huge fenced in backyard. AirBNB has a maximum number of guests at 16. We have sleeping arrangement for 12, but you could extend it to 16 by bringing your own beddings.. The sleeping arrangements are as follows. No random guests. This is for your safety as well as your guests. No wild parties, raves, banquets, etc. This is a house for friends and family to have a very nice place to stay. As the person that made the booking, you are responsible for telling your guests the House Rules. No smoking or vaping inside the house. For example: If you register 6 guests, then only 6 guests are allowed on the property. Special situations may be approved by the permission of the host. The current daily rate is for 6 guests. Additional guest fees apply for bookings over that amount. This is calculated on the AirBNB platform. This home is in a quiet residential neighborhood. It is not suitable for loud or late night parties, and you are expected to respect the privacy and comfort of the neighbors at all times. Guest access Parking - There is plenty of street parking in front of the house. Most guests park on the street in front of the house. Access to the house is through the front door. What is unique about Sunset Veranda is its private driveway. The driveway can hold 8 cars and is directly behind the house. You access the driveway though the alley. There is not an entrance at the back of the house, only at the front. There is a path that leads from the front of the house to the driveway in the back. The path is on the left side of the house. Once you enter the house, the patio door provide another exit and entry. Walking/biking trails - You can see the trail from the front porch. The trail takes you through a wooded area and around the lake. Catch and release fishing is allowed. Shops and Restaurants. 1 mile away from Aviator Pizza & Drafthouse, Texican Cafe, and Summer Moon Coffee. Our local HEB Plus grocery is nearby along with Walmart, Target, Kohls. etc. A wide variety of restaurants are also nearby. Check the House Manual for more information. The house is a short drive to many tourist destinations: 12 miles to Austin - Live Music Capital of the World, SXSW, Austin City Limits festival 14 miles to San Marcos - River tubing and Texas State University 15 mile to San Marcos Outlet Malls - 350 stores !!! 18 miles to Wimberly - A hill country town on the Blanco River. 22 miles to Circuit of the Americas - Formula 1 race track, Concert venue 27 miles to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport 31 miles to New Braunfels - Schlitterbahn Water Park, tubing 35 miles to Canyon Lake 62 miles to San Antonio - The Riverwalk, Historic Market Square From shopping, entertainment to golf, this is the perfect location to all attractions.
