🏝️ Luxurious Private Heated Pool Home In Historic Downtown and Family Friendly! - Private Heated Pool & large backyard with tons of gorgeous palms - Outdoor cabana with grill, fans, pool table, kid toys, bocce, corn hole, recessed lights and seating - Walking distance to the Castillo de San Marcos Fort, Fountain of Youth, Uptown shops, The Bayfront and St. George Street - Less than 10 mins to Vilano Beach 🌊 - Sleeps 6/ 2 King beds, 2 XL twin beds (daybed trundle) - Pet Friendly - Event Venue The space Originally built prior to 1885 this 2 bedroom 2 bath house with a living room that has a couch and a pull out trundle bed, has undergone a complete renovation. The house sleeps 6, with 2 king beds and 2 XL twins (trundle bed). The old time charm of 10’ ceilings and original 140 yr old hardwood floors are accented with beautiful wall trim reminiscent of Henry Flagler’s glory days. The master bedroom is beautifully decorated and equipped with a king size bed, private master bathroom, TV and ceiling fan. The second bedroom over looks the pool and backyard. Watch your kids swim while you read a book or watch a movie in bed. The room has a king bed, a closet and ceiling fan. The guest bathroom is easily accessible just across from the second bedroom, in the main room. The main room is a stunningly trimmed out sitting area with a desk, couch and curtains to make the other living room private for a guest sleeping in the living room on the trundle bed. The living room has a large couch, tv and a daybed with a trundle. The daybed is essentially two XL twin beds. It is private with the curtains in the main room closed, giving it a bedroom feel if desirable for guests. The private back yard is very spacious with a beautiful pool surrounded by many sylvester and queen palm trees. The pool comfortably fits 2-4 Max, it’s not very large, however the entire yard space is very large. We are pet friendly, but only one dog please. There is an outdoor shower, in the backyard with brick pavers located next to the laundry room. The pool and cabana are laid out with travertine and turf for a clean, picture perfect pool day. Play on the 8’ slate pool table while watching the big game, sipping on a cold drink, while the rest of your family plays in the pool and works on their tans. Relax in the large Adirondack chairs or the chaise lounge chairs. The entire yard is fenced in and there is sod in the back half of the yard. The laundry room is located across from the cabana. It’s attached to the house but accessible from the backyard. We keep all cleaning supplies in it. One washer and dryer is there to use. There is a driveway that fits 2 vehicles, one behind the other. There is also ample street parking just in front of the house. The kitchen is stocked with both a Keurig coffee machine and a drip coffee machine. There is also a large crockpot, blender, popcorn machine, toaster, rice cooker, ect. We suggest going to the Publix grocery store on Vilano, but there are many different grocery store options nearby the house. The Pink Palms is close to The Fountain of Youth, downtown, restaurants and all the downtown activities. It’s also just a quick 10 minute drive to Vilano Beach. On holidays you will appreciate not having to hunt for parking downtown and sit in traffic, as you can walk anywhere downtown from the property. The home is very quiet and safe, it has extra insulation which helps keep it very cool in the hot summer months. The AC is brand new along with everything else on the property. There is a large hotel across the street and many tourists walking around the neighborhood. The neighbors on both sides are friendly and keep to themselves. A private school is a few doors away and the faint laugh of happy children can be heard near mid-day, occasionally. A large marsh area is just west of the house and many birds can be heard in the morning and evening time. Peacocks stop by in the backyard every now and then, jumping the neighbors fence to say hello on an evening stroll. We do encourage being respectful of the noise ordinance, which is observing quiet time per St. Johns County ordinance from the hours of 10pm until 8am. Dog friendly, maximum ONE well-behaved dog (unless approved through a private messages with us). We will happily consider more than one pet if it’s a small breed or older well behaved dog. We do not allow any other type of pets (ie cats). It is a one time fee of $50 for per pet which should be on the reservation. We require guests to pick up after your dogs poop. If you bring a pet please ensure that it does not sleep on the beds. If our maids notice sandy paw prints on linens, it could result in an extra cleaning/ replacement fee. Though the backyard is fenced in, we are not responsible if your pet escapes. It’s up to the guests to make sure the backyard is adequate for pets if left alone. Please do not leave a dog alone in a room or in the house if it is going to scratch. Again, any damage can result in an extra charge. We highly suggest bringing a crate if needed. The pool is for safe swimming only. • No swimming under the influence of alcohol or drugs. • Young children must wear swim diapers. 🍹 Food & Drinks • No glass containers near the pool — only plastic, cans, or metal cups. • Please clean up any spills or trash to help keep the pool area safe. 🛟 Equipment & Care • Safety gear (life ring, reaching pole, first aid kit) is for emergencies only. • Do not tamper with pool equipment, heater, or controls, before watching our video in the welcome message. *** Responsibility ** By using the pool, you accept full responsibility for yourself and your guests.
