Shetland View on the Somerset Levels

Escape to the rural countryside of Henley, near Langport. This stylish and comfortable shepherd’s hut overlooks the picturesque Somerset Levels, offering stunning views to wake up to each morning. A peaceful retreat at any time of year, you’ll enjoy your own private garden, wood‑fired hot tub and fire BBQ, with firewood included for a truly relaxing stay. The space This spacious shepherd's hut offers an open-plan living area with a good size kitchen and dining table for two. The well equipped kitchen has everything you need, a double ring gas hob, combi oven and fridge with top freezer compartment. It has a sumptuous kingsize bed in the wall you fold down. It has a built in smart TV and Wifi if you choose to stay in and cosy up with the log-burning stove. For additional warmth and cosy nights your shepherd's hut has underfloor heating! There is a stable door that opens out onto your private garden area with your own wood fired hot tub, with a fire pit and bbq for cooking a harty breakfast or evening meal whilst watching the evening sun set across the Somerset Levels. The shower room has a heated towel rail and modern cubicle shower with mixer shower. Two separate shower heads you can easily switch between using to create the most relaxing shower. All bed linen is provided, along with fluffy towels and an extra set for the hot tub. Bathrobes and slippers are also included. The bathroom features a flushing toilet and a shaving socket. We welcome you with tea, coffee, sugar and milk as well as other complimentary goodies. Once your booking is confirmed, we’ll ask for your email so we can send you our Digital Guide. Dog Friendly We welcome one small, well-behaved dog and provide a doggy pack with bowls, towel, poop bags and treats. When booking, please confirm your dog's breed and name, and be sure to add the pet fee. Note: Although Shetland View has a private garden, it is not fully enclosed, so good recall is essential. You're welcome to bring a long line for extra peace of mind. Disclaimer: We accept no responsibility for injuries to dogs during your stay. Guest access Parking is available on-site. A short pathway leads to your hut. If you’re travelling separately and bringing two cars, please let us know in advance. Other things to note You will be adjacent to the family working farm, you may hear tractors and animal noises during your stay. We have dogs that bark and are friendly and welcoming. We have Miiniature Shetland Ponies that will be grazing in the paddock in front of your shepherd hut. We kindly ask guests not to feed them. Thank you. We are adults-only and therefore unable to accept babies, infants, or children due to the unsuitability of the property and being close to the working farm.
