Designed by the same eco-architectural team responsible for the award-winning Acre resort, the concept for this home is to live simply within Baja’s rich natural beauty. It features rammed earth walls (made of local soil & sand), a palapa roof (local palm trees), 2 window walls (full accordion-opening & french), artisanal adobe tiles & incredible sunset view from the terraza. Overlooking Ánimas Valley, it is one of few actual homes available in this area made famous for farm-to-table luxury. The space A design-forward earthen home: open floor plan with air conditioned kitchen, bathroom & bedroom, and very private outdoor patio & terrace. Enjoy simple organic living surrounded by a rural setting and grounds filled with native local cactus & desert species (including medicinals such as damiana). I keep a clean and sophisticated home where you will find the inspiration and comfortability of a loved sanctuary. Highlights are mountain sunset views, the privacy & serenity you'll feel in my home and my record collection for your listening pleasure (many guests say the record player has made for their most relaxed trip ever). I have mostly jazz & soul along with some Mexican classics. And please enjoy the curated library of books on Mexican culture, history, politics, geography and some wonderful novels. The location feels rural and rustic yet only 4 minutes to the marina and 7 minutes to downtown San José del Cabo. And since it is at the entrance to the East Cape it's only 20 minutes to Shipwrecks surf break - perfect home base for surfers. House amenities include a new California Queen bed, a/c, both a chiminea and a fire pit for cozy winter nights & local artesanal dishware. Mi casa es su casa. *Please be sure to note that the access to my home is up 3 flights of stairs if this is of concern to you.
