Casa de Josh is our newest addition at Casa del Bambu. Located in the tranquil, rural Bambu neighborhood, you’ll enjoy peace and local charm—just a 5-minute drive to Puerto Jiménez for beaches, restaurants, banks, and all amenities. Your home, Casa Josh del Bambu, offers complete seclusion with a private patio, private entrance gate, and driveway that is not visible from the other Airbnb unit (Casa del Bambu) on the property. My co-host Josh lives in a separate, smaller casita nearby, but out of sight and behind lots of vegetation, to ensure your complete privacy. Bambu is a tranquil neighborhood in Puerto Jiménez known for its peaceful atmosphere and lush surroundings. The area offers a quiet retreat away from busy tourist spots, perfect for relaxation and nature immersion (scarlet macaws, toucans, and parrots are frequent visitors at our property). Our property is just a quick 5-minute drive (3 km) from the heart of Puerto Jiménez. This prime location makes Casa Josh del Bambu the perfect starting point for your adventure to the world-famous Corcovado National Park—one of the planet’s most biodiverse destinations. The boat ramp for Corcovado tours is also only five minutes away, making excursions easy and effortless. The Osa Peninsula is surrounded by pristine, uncrowded beaches such as Playa Platanares, Playa Preciosa, and Playa Matapalo—perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and surfing, all set against the backdrop of lush rainforest and the sparkling Golfo Dulce. This gate is for your exclusive use - no one else uses this gate. The other rental property and Josh's casita has their separate gate. Your house is entirely separate and private from the other houses, with it's own garden and patio space. You will only share the laundry area with the other rental guests and with Josh. There are occasional power outages as well as frequent short power surges, which are common in the area and all of Costa Rica. We cannot take responsibility for any internet outages or other inconveniences the power outages might cause. 
 The house is located in a rural agricultural neighborhood with farmland. Despite routine efforts to control unwanted pests, you may encounter a bug or ants near and inside the home.
 Our rural neighborhood consists of around 20 other Costa Rican family homes. Please note that you will hear the occasional dog barking outside, and sometimes there will be music playing from neighbors. Especially on weekends, the music level can sometimes be a bit louder in the evenings. Apart from this, the neighborhood is quiet and chill. The rental house is for the exclusive use of our guests on the reservation. However, the 2800 square meter property is shared with 1 other rental home and my co-host’s casita. All patios are located in a way to offer you complete privacy. However, you might see Josh, my gardener, or other guests around the gardens of the property on occasion. The laundry room and drying area is shared between all houses on the property.
