Retro/Modern UES Penthouse Apt

Welcome to my spacious 4th Floor Penthouse Apt in the heart of the Upper East Side. This lovely unit is on a quiet street lined with beautiful buildings, walking distance to Central Park, the best museums, restaurants, and shopping in the city. You'll enjoy a Temperpedic Luxe Adapt cooling mattress, jacuzzi tub/shower, full kitchen, washer/dryer, high speed wifi, office w/ a wireless keyboard & mouse w/ plug-in large monitor & 40in Smart TV with a pullout mattress that comfortably sleeps two. The space I want to make it very clear it is 3 FLIGHTS of stairs to the top floor which is entirely yours to enjoy. There is NO ELEVATOR which is quite common in historic NYC apartments. My assitant or I will be available to help bring any luggage up or down and help with anything else that may be needed. There are thick walls so no neighbor noise to worry about but some street noise at times on one side of the apartment as in any big city. You’ll have lots of windows on both sides of the apartment to allow near all day sunlight. The backside of the unit by the kitchen and dining room area is very quiet as it only faces backyards or other buildings and not a street. There is a spacious bathroom with a shower jacuzzi tub and equipped with most any amenities you may need or have forgotten. The kitchen is fully stocked with ALL DISHWASHER SAFE pots, pans, knives, cutting boards, utensils, silverware, an easy to use toaster oven, coffee maker and tea kettle, both of which are not dishwasher safe. And if you don’t feel like making your own coffee then not to worry cause there are probably 5 coffee shops within a 2 block radius not to mention one on the corner, nearly across the street. You can also use the washer and dryer which are located behind closet doors to the right of the fridge in the kitchen and there is everything you may need provided. The office is attached to the bedroom but easily separated from the rest of the unit if you shut the bedroom doors and need to get some work done while taking advantage of the comfortable, well accessorized work station. The living room couch very easily folds out into a surprisingly comfy bed or a chill place to enjoy an evening movie/show on the 40 in Samsung Smart TV equipped with Apple TV with access to Netflix, HBO Max, Amazon Prime, Paramount+, or Bloomberg if you want the financial news, among other apps. You can also access Spotify with your own account and utilize the easy pairing to the soundbar and play music directly from your phone or computer if you want the TV off. You may need your own password for certain apps, and purchases of any kind will be blocked and/or charged to you afterward. The two fireplaces are both inoperable and purely decorative, not that I imagine anyone will desire to build a fire during their stay. And for the animal lovers like myself, I found that deer skull intact hiking in the snow in the middle of winter in the Catskills in Upstate NY, which is absolutely beautiful any time of year if you ever get the chance. There is a glass door to a large Fire Escape that provides a lot of light inside and looks enticing to use as a balcony but it is unfortunately not a balcony and for your own SAFETY DO NOT GO ON THE FIRE ESCAPE UNLESS IT’S AN EMERGENCY. This spacious, well lit and uniquely decorated 1100 sq ft unit has everything you need to comfortably make yourself at home while experiencing the best NYC has to offer. My assistant or I will always do our best to assist in anyway such as carrying luggage or providing anything else you may need and we are happy to help, so never hesitate to reach out at anytime! Other things to note I want to make sure it is clear that there are 3 flights of stairs to walk up and no elevator, like many classic NYC buildings. My assitant or I will always do our best to help with anything you need and will happily carry luggage up and down the stairs upon check in and check out. If you need to check in early or late we will do our best to accommodate, whether it be storing luggage or you arriving or departing at your leisure.
