PRIVATE ENTRY GUEST ROOM WITH BEAUTIFUL VIEW OF HALFMOON BAY! Located in a quiet neighbourhood our private guest room provides a safe, secure, and comfortable space for you to enjoy a quiet getaway. The room has a private covered entry and is accessed by 14 interior stairs. We also provide access to scenic private outside sitting areas. As on site hosts we are available at all times to answer any questions or concerns you may have. For those with allergies note we have two resident cats. The space Our 240 sq. ft private guest room is ideal for those wanting a reclusive and quiet getaway. It includes a queen size bed as well as a private 55 sq. ft. bathroom complete with a tub /shower combo, cable TV which swivels to allow watching TV in bed . We also have WIFI. Please take not there is NO KITCHEN in the guest room however we have a bar fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee maker. There is also a three speed ceiling fan as well as bug screens on all windows which allows you to adjust the room to your preferred temperature especially in the summer months. It also provides a wonderful view of Halfmoon Bay and Welcome Passage where you can sit back and watch vessels of all kinds go by. We also provide a pair of binoculars which allows you to observe anything interesting outside. The view can only be described as a photographers paradise with the potential for gorgeous sunrises and sunsets or moody dark and stormy skies. At night, you have the opportunity to enjoy the wonders of the night sky, the flicker of the light house on Merry Island and the distant lights of Lantzville across Georgia Strait. Immediately outside the entrance, we have a courtyard which you are welcome to use as a sitting area along side our granite wall and numerous stone gargoyles. For those who have no problem engaging the 30 steps, we provide a private guests only 80 sq. ft. southern exposed elevated waterfront sitting area. Here you will find more sensational views of Halfmoon Bay where you can enjoy the sights and sounds of the surf on the rocks below or catch a glimpse of the numerous bird species such as bald eagles, hawks, ravens, humming birds, woodpeckers and herons. This area also provides a view of Thormanby Island as well as the viewing of distant cruise ships when in season. During your stay Our goal is to provide you with a private and comfortable stay.
