If you’re looking for easy bike access to the forest or a comfortable spot for a family holiday, look no further. Forest 2 Lakes is the ideal base for your getaway—whether you’re exploring Rotorua’s beautiful lakes or adventuring through the forest. Nestled in the stunning Bay of Plenty, this peaceful property offers the perfect location with Lake Ōkāreka and the Blue Lake just a 5-minute drive away, and the Redwood Forest right across the road. The space The property features two generously sized bedrooms, a bathroom, a comfortable lounge area, and a large, fully fenced lawn—ideal for families or those needing space to unwind. The kitchenette is equipped with an induction cooktop and a convection microwave, providing all you need for light meal preparation. Step out onto your private deck to enjoy a BBQ dinner with views of the neighbouring farmland—perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure. Located at the end of the road, the Redwood Centre offers convenient amenities including a pharmacy, ice cream shop, butcher, fresh produce store, and a variety of takeaway options. If you love the outdoors, this location is hard to beat, with world-class tramping and biking trails right on your doorstep. Note: We’re currently working on adding in-house laundry facilities. For longer stays (4 nights or more), access to laundry can be arranged upon request Guest access Self check in via a lockbox with your own private entry. Off street parking is available for one car. Other things to note Please note that this space is the bottom level of our family home. Our bedrooms are away from this area and we have completed extra soundproofing between the two levels. We will always do our best to keep any noise to a minimum but would like you to be aware we do have two school-aged children.
