Just a 5-minute walk to Wickford Junction for an easy, stress-free train ride to Boston. Relax in our 3-bed, 2-bath home set on a private 2-acre wooded lot, minutes from Wickford Village and a short drive to Newport. Enjoy two living rooms, five beds + sleeper sofa, a fully stocked kitchen, coffee bar, and fast Wi-Fi. Unwind outdoors on the deck or gather around the fire pit under the stars. Private, cozy, and perfectly located for a seasonal escape. The space Our beautiful Rhode Island bungalow has 3 large bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms that can easily accommodate 6 people comfortably. Is that a cloud you’re sleeping on? No, that’s just the queen size memory foam mattresses we’ve put in every bedroom. So no need to draw straws about who sleeps where. All 3 bedrooms are equally appointed. 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath on the main floor and 1 bedroom and 1 full bath on the basement floor. Fine dining is fun, but sometimes we all need a home cooked meal. That is why our kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials you will need to prepare meals for your group. Can’t agree on what to watch on Netflix? Not a problem, we have two separate living rooms each complete with 50 inch 4k smart tv’s and seating for the whole crew. One living room on the main floor with 2 sofas and 1 living room on the basement floor with a sectional sofa. The property does have a pool and will opened between Memorial Day and Labor Day (weather dependent). The pool is NOT heated. If the temperatures are low in the evening then the pool will be ‘refreshing’ during the day. There are 3 dining areas in the home. We have a dining table in the kitchen area that can seat 6. We also have a table in the basement that seats 4. On the deck outside we have a large outdoor table with 4 chairs, but for larger groups, more chairs can be moved outside to accommodate 8 people. There’s a lovely deck with outdoor furniture and a fire pit in the backyard to make the most of the scenic wooded 2 acre space. Since our home is surrounded by nature on a wooded property. While we take great care to keep it clean and comfortable, occasional insects may find their way inside during weather changes. Please note that there is a commuter train track that passes near the property. The train schedule varies depending on season and the day of the week, but generally the train will pass through out the day from 6 am to 11 pm. There are no train horns. It passes the property in about 5 seconds. It is not very loud inside the house. It can be loud outside in the yard/pool, but again it only takes 5 seconds to pass the property. For the most up to date train schedule please reference the Amtrak northeast regional schedule online as it does change. Guest access Guest access will be through the front door electronic keypad. Other things to note We have 3 cameras located on the property that are recording 24 hours/7 days a week. There’s a camera on the front door, on the deck, and in the backyard directed at the pool. Disabling the internet or interfering with cameras is cause for immediate cancellation with forfeiture of funds. Because some bookings are back to back, it can be difficult to accommodate early check-in and late check-outs. If you need additional time in the home please consider booking an extra day. If our cleaner completes the clean early, we do our best to notify the incoming guest that they can check in early. It is our pleasure to accept your group and your service animal. Please answer the following questions legally allowed by the ADA regarding your service animal. 1. Is the service animal required because of a disability? 2. What work or task has the service animal been trained to perform? We do not charge extra for a service animal, nor do we increase the security deposit. Guest remains liable for any and all damage caused by people or the service animal. Under the ADA, service animals must be harnessed, leashed or tethered, unless these devices interfere with the service animal’s work or the individual’s disability prevents using these devices. In that case, the individual must maintain control of the animal through voice, signal or other effective controls. The animal must be under control by the handler at all times therefore never left alone at any time. Falsely representing a pet as a service animal is a criminal offense! If we discover a guest has misrepresented a pet as a service animal, we reserve the right to seek financial restitution, report fraudulent claims to government authorities and to evict the guest(s) without further notice.
