The Dragons Nest

Take it easy and get back to nature at this unique and tranquil getaway in a beautifully crafted, rustic cabin nestled in ancient woodland among the stunning countryside of East Sussex. A minutes drive from the timeless village of East Hoathly. The Dragons Nest and relaxing garden patio area is screened off with living forest walls so you can relax and enjoy your privacy. The main house is situated nearby (the side/back of the house is roughly 8 meters away The space Our rustic cabin has a spacious open plan layout, featuring a cosy bedroom cove with a super-king size bed, a fully kitted out modern kitchen and bathroom, an open living / dining space with one comfy large 3 seater sofa and one small double sofa bed. The living area has bifold doors with beautiful garden views and lead onto your own outdoor patio and garden area which is screened with a living forest wall for your privacy. It should be noted that although the there is a doorway there is no closable door between the living space with the sofa bed and bedroom. The sofa bed is a small double (122cm W x 190cm L) so could be best suited for 2 children. However you are of course still welcome to book for 4 adults. Guest access You’ll have access to the whole cabin through your own entrance leading to your private patio and garden area, you are also welcome to use and explore the gardens and surrounds, children are also very welcome to use the swings and climbing frame by the woods. The sofa bed is a small double (122cm W x 190cm L) so could be best suited for 2 children. However you are of course still welcome to book for 4 adults. We have a very friendly border collie dog named Sunny. He is a very good boy but so loving and excitable he might be a bit too friendly for anyone who doesn’t like dogs. We don’t allow him inside the Nest, but he will most likely be keen to come and say hello!
