The Spruce Tip

Enjoy our new 2-bedroom cozy getaway cabin located in the quiet Good River area and just 8 miles from Glacier Bay National Park. The cabin sits on a wooded lot with trails nearby and close enough to bike anywhere in town. The cabin has two queen size beds, fully equipped kitchen, living room, bathroom and washer/dryer. Fixings for a pancake breakfast with homemade Spruce Tip syrup is included. Free bikes, BBQ and a portable firepit are also available for use. The space The cabin has a large porch entry with room for sitting. Inside is an open floor plan with living, kitchen and dining area. The living room is stocked with a full Alaskan library and games. Each bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed with down comforters a chair and an armoire. A full bathroom with fresh towels, full size bathtub and some toiletries if you have forgotten your own or run out along your travels. Utility area has a washer and dryer, ironing board, recycling bins and cleaning supplies. Guest access While you are with us, you have access to the entire cabin and bikes located at the shed adjacent to the cabin. Other things to note While at the Spruce Tip, you are in bear county. Nothing is to be left outside that has a scent of any kind. It is also very sandy and no shoes are allowed indoors. Lastly No food or grease down the kitchen sink and nothing other than pee, poo and TP are to go down the toilet. We are on our own septic with the closest septic service's in Juneau. You can imagine how difficult that is for a community that has no road access.
