The space This lovely home has been completely remodeled from top to bottom and decorated in pleasing, calming tones. Lofted ceilings, hard floor surfaces and a central courtyard patio make the home flow and live large. This well-appointed 1,650 sf vacation home is located in a quiet neighborhood on the north end of Carmel-by-the-Sea, just close enough to walk downtown but far enough away to feel out of the fray. Just a short drive away to numerous beaches, restaurants, golf courses and other area attractions, this convenient location is a great choice for your next trip to Carmel. Carmel is famously a dog-friendly town and your well-behaved dog will be welcome at Twin Tides with pre-approval, an additional pet fee and a signed pet addendum, but your furry friend should not be left unattended. Living Spaces Inside, a cozy living room with lofted ceiling has a sofa with chaise and two upholstered armchairs placed around the gas fireplace and large flat screen TV, perfect for movie nights. Well-equipped for extended stays! The interior flows out to the rear courtyard paved patio which is fenced and full of comfortable outdoor furnishings including a large dining table, string lights and a propane BBQ for your grilling pleasure. Take a soak in the hot tub to relax and nurture yourself. Kitchen and Dining The stunning kitchen is adorned with subway tiled walls and gleaming countertops. Stainless steel appliances include a gas cooktop and oven and a dedicated wine refrigerator. The large farmhouse style kitchen sink is another standout feature. The kitchen island with space for stools on two sides is perfect for enjoying meals together or just hanging out and chatting with the chef. Step outside onto the patio to dine al fresco at the large dining table and to grill at the BBQ. Bedrooms and Bathrooms Bedroom #1 is the primary suite which has a four-poster king bed, a comfy armchair, a TV and an en suite bathroom with beautiful tile, a soaking tub and a separate shower. Bedroom #2 has a king bed and a desk with desk chair, perfect for getting a bit of work done while you are on vacation. Bedroom #3 has a queen bed. All three bedrooms have direct access outside making it convenient to nip out to the hot tub. The hallway bathroom has a shower. A laundry center is located in the home for your convenience. The garage is not available to guests but the large driveway provides ample off-street parking.
