Our lodge is located right by the water, in a natural ambiance. The meals served are delicious and locally cooked, so you get an authentic rural Gambian experience! Baboucarr, or how everybody calls him, Mr. B, will host you wholeheartedly! We have 10 bungalows and 2 concrete huts, and each can accommodate up to 2 people. Our lodge is a place you’ll remember! Whether for a short break from longer travels, or as a relaxing holiday at our lodge, we have something to offer for anyone who is attracted to off-the-beaten-track experiences. If you are interested in further exploring, Mr. B is a guide with 20+ years’ experience, so various tours can be arranged inc. Kunteh-Kinteh (roots) Island, Fathala Safari, Georgetown, bush experience and more! Additionally, we have another rural lodge, by the village of Buniadu, which could also be booked. It is a 30 minute drive to the point where a boat will wait to cross the river to the island, directly to the lodge :)
