This charming mountain farm from 1857 is idyllically located on a hill in the cultural landscape, 850 meters above sea level, and offers panoramic views of Ølsjøen, Tisleidalen and the surrounding mountains. The farm is now designed for recreation and nature experiences, with Stølsvidda as the closest neighbor. Here you have a short way to everything you need for an active or relaxing holiday with the family. The space Running water and electricity provide modern comfort, while the history of the mountain farm is embedded in the old timber walls. Enjoy the evening sun on the terrace or a dinner in front of the fireplace. In the summer months, there is a living cultural landscape with active mountain farm operations in the area. You are almost guaranteed to experience the sight of elk grazing on the lands below the farm on a late summer evening. Here you are close to nature! Guest access The farm consists of a main building, a barn and an outhouse with firewood. In the main building there is a hallway, bathroom with toilet and shower, fully equipped kitchen, TV and fireplace room with dining table and sofa bed, and a separate bedroom. In the bedroom there is a double bed, in addition to a bunk bed and a single bed. Firewood is included in the stay and is located in the outhouse. If you want extra space, it is possible to rent the barn in addition. Here there is an outhouse and an isolated guest room with two 120 beds. Other things to note There is a road all the way up, all year round. The nearest grocery store is Joker Fjellbu, a 5-minute drive from the cabin. The store is known for its good service and selection of local food.
