The old Vallø dairy has been transformed into a home. We have spent 2 years on the renovation and have a completely unique living space of about 150 m2 with 7.5 meters to the ceiling. Unique rooms / kitchen all rooms with 8 m to the ceiling / inserted deck etc. The home is not suitable for small children. There are chickens - so fresh eggs every morning if you wish. We are a design and interior design duo living here - so expect exciting interior design elements everywhere. It is 1.6 km to the train that goes to Køge and from there directly to Copenhagen The space The home is an old dairy from 1920 - restored with great respect to the building's previous operation - including tiled walls - the old production boards - the large concrete staircase and not least the large shelves in the ceiling that are filled with floor glass. Here hung the old tanks with cheese in the morning of time. Vallø Dairy was Denmark's first Emmental dairy. There is a nice large garden and grounds to the place - with a campfire - a stream - where within the right season you can fish for large trout. Guest access We rent out the entire home Other things to note Historical building - you should be aware that the rest of the building functions as a warehouse - there may be sounds from the neighbor - but it is usually during the daytime - and rarely that you can hear this.
