My grandparent's 50 years house is located in Guaynabo in a family gated area (country area). 15 minute drive to San Juan, beaches, mall and mayor roads to initiate a trip anywhere on the island. The house was remodeled with love and care. A few original items were left to reconcile with the new. Surrounded by nature, flowers, birds. A one-story house perfect for those in search of some fresh environment away from the city stress but close enough to get everything you need thru a short drive. The space The house has a modern master bedroom with a Queen bed, a private bathroom, and a walking closet. The second room has a bunk bed with a twin and a full-size bed. Open space type of house, barn doors, natural light all around, provides a warm and at ease feeling. An escape room facing the outdoor terrace provides the perfect scenario for the reader, the philosopher, or the creative mind to connect with nature. A wood terrace to enjoy a morning coffee watching the sunrise or an afternoon nap at the hamaca below the terrace is highly recommended. A private pool facing the mountain and the wood deck provides a great space for relaxing after spending a day on the beach , or at El Yunque. Next to the house there is a second terrace shared with the other members of the community area (3 other families) and is available for our guests as well. The house is located in a family-gated community area. The main gate and main road (after the gate) are shared with 3 other houses. As a true Casa de Campo you will hear or meet with, chickens, roosters, birds, coqui, lizards, and a few insects (the whole 9 yards). Otherwise, it wouldn't be called "el campo" but not to worry, none of them of lethal nature. Since is a gated area it is safe for children to play outside due to the very low traffic. This is also convenient for a dog if your family includes one. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a gas range. All you need is there. Next to the house, you can find oregano and recao spices that you can grab for free to add to your meals. Laundry - washer and dryer and detergents are available in case you need to use them. Also for your use, you will find beach chairs, a beach umbrella and a cooler. Books, table games, and other extras are for my guests to use and enjoy. The house has a solar system installed to back you up if the power goes out. How long the batteries will last will very much depend on guests energy usage consciousness (if not needed, turn Off). This house has so many memories for me and my family. I am confident that you can enjoy and create some memories of your trip as well. Guest access Second terrace, by the house is shared with the community (3 families) and available for the guests. Just ask for it. It has a BBQ you can use. Other things to note No Smoking or Vaping is allowed inside the house. A $300.00 fee will be charged for extra cleaning to those guests that do not comply with this House Rule. We don't charge a cleaning fee. We requests from guests to leave the house in good condition as it was your own, clean the kitchen after using it, leave used towels hanging to dry and take out your trash on your way out. We will take care of the rest.
