Relaxing retreat - steps from lakes & trails

Relax in a cosy space surrounded by nature's beauty. Watch the light shift on the hills from the comfy sofa - or grab a stick and go hiking. Amble down the lane to the picturesque lake (some hardy souls might brave a quick dip!). Recharge in a superking bed dressed in quality bed linens and revive in the ensuite rainforest shower. The kitchenette has everything needed for simple meal prep, and your private patio is fully furnished for Al fresco dining. The space The apartment is entirely self- contained with its own patio in a shared garden. We can provide locked storage for bikes/ paddle boards etc. We live on site with our two friendly (but nosy!) dogs, chickens and pygmy goats and you will likely meet with all and any of us in the garden. The property is furnished to a high standard throughout, with a superking bed and memory foam mattress. Guest access Feel free to use all of the garden , except the patio in front of the house which is private. You can visit the goats (who love a biscuit,but fingers are at your own risk ;-) Other things to note Please let us know in advance if you will use the sofa-bed so we can provide bedding and a comfier mattress. Our dogs and at least one goat are very nosy, so probably best to keep your door shut if you don't welcome visitors! The fuse box for the house is located in the porch of the Airbnb apartment. In the unlikely event of a power cut / fuse blowing during your stay we will need to access the fuse box, but we will always let you know first if we need to do this.
