Welcome to the Mermaid House! Forget all your troubles in this beautiful, serene space. Situated on Blue Lake, a 441 acre private lake located just 5 miles south of downtown Minocqua. Blue Lake is in the top ten of Wisconsin’s clearest lakes and is home to panfish, largemouth bass, small mouth bass, and walleye. The lake is not only great for fishing, but also perfect for cruising and/or watersports. This house is perfect for year round stays with close proximity to the UTV/snowmobile trails. The space This house is perfect for gathering families and friends with a large open concept kitchen, living room, and dining room. The upper level has 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath with a bathtub. The lower level is a great place to relax in a recliner or challenge someone to a game of darts and foosball. The lower level has a large, walkout bedroom and full bath. Your stay will include 200’ of beautiful lake frontage with a shallow, sandy bottom. The surrounding yard is generously sized and flat, perfect for yard games or enjoying a campfire around the fire ring. Guest access You will be provided a code for the door on the day of your arrival. Check in time at 4pm, early check-in available upon request for additional fee. Parking is available in the large circle driveway. This is a 100% non-smoking property. Blue Lake is a tight-knit community, so please be respectful of our neighbors. No pets please. 24 hour on call management services provided. Other things to note The amenities of the Mermaid House are numerous; fully equipped kitchen with Keurig combo coffee maker and Kitchen Aid mixer; numerous games, puzzles, and Legos; high chair; pack n’ play, gas grill, high speed Wi-Fi, free laundry on-site, dishwasher, A/C, gas fire place, kayaks (2), paddle boards (2), and life jackets (infant-adult XL). Beautiful 22 ft pontoon available for additional weekly fee, please inquire with host if interested. At this time, we are not allowing any outside boats/jetskis on the lake. The Mermaid House is located within riding distance to both UTV and snowmobile trails. No need to trailer to a trailhead, you can get on the trails directly from the house.
