The space Our home is a single family mid-century modern home built in the 1950s during the post war boom. It has a main floor with living/dining/kitchen and 3 bedrooms, a full bath and a cozy half bath. The lower level accessed by stairs includes a large recreation room with an additional 2 bedrooms, a full bath, and a large jacuzzi tub plus laundry with kitchenette. The property is in a high density neighborhood so it’s very walkable. This home also features an amazing roof deck, two separate large TV viewing areas, solar power, new KitchenAid appliances, new (<5 years old) furnace and central air conditioning, beautiful modern styling throughout, and recently painted interior. Our kitchen is well stocked and ready for entertaining! Guest access Guest have access to the whole of the home and property with limited exceptions. Off Limits Areas Include: - The garage interior. - The locked host supply/linen closets. - The mechanical rooms. - Any cabinets that are locked. Other things to note Our home has many unique features that make it a highly desirable home away from home- including stunning cherry inlaid floors, stylish tile floors, solar power, upgraded appliances, well stocked kitchen, external exhausted gas range, kitchenette, coffee options, comfy mattresses, jetted whirlpool soaking tub, and a private roof deck. Parking comes up frequently and we are happy to share that while we have no private garage or driveway parking available for guests, many neighbors have a private driveway and so street parking is ample, with a couple parking spots usually available immediately in front of our property or the adjacent homes. For security reasons, we have an exterior doorbell camera that monitors the front entry, an exterior rear camera that monitors the rear alley and trash bins, an exterior side door camera to monitor our side entry and garage, and a deck camera to monitor quiet hours noise. While every attempt has been made to make your stay comfortable, at this time the entirety of the home is not easily accessible by individuals with specific mobility needs. The open-concept living area on the main floor (1 king, 1 queen, 2 twin) is easily accessed after climbing 4 exterior steps with a well secured handrail at the front porch. Navigating one set of interior stairs are required to access the lower level (1 king, 1 Murphy queen, 1 twin), including the recreation room and laundry. Parents may want to note that child/infant friendly features are not yet in place to make your family stay easier (no baby gates, no child safety features, etc.). Children require adult supervision at all times while staying in our home. Further, some allergens may be present (pantry items may contain allergens, some pillows are filled with goose feathers, etc.).
