Sunny Loft in heart of Corktown/ Old Tiger Stadium
Sunny Loft in heart of Corktown/ Old Tiger Stadium
Description
The Disco Den is a 2nd floor walk-up spacious, sunny and cozy crash pad. Moroccan rugs, 1970s weavings, mid century finds, and neutral color palette make this a calming oasis in the middle of a bustling city. This 1870s brick flat iron building sits at the corner of Old Tiger Stadium in the heart of Corktown - Detroit's Oldest Neighborhood. Internationally acclaimed restaurants, shops, cafes, speakeasies, breweries and distilleries are steps from your door. Downtown is about a 1/2 mile east. The space PLEASE NOTE: While we truly appreciate your interest, we are not currently renting this space for events such as: any type of photoshoot or photography/videography, wedding gatherings, bridal parties, bachelorette parties, private events, special dinner parties, etc. This space is perfect for two people spending the night and is currently not set up to host larger gatherings outside of that scope as they can negatively impact other people and guests using the building. Please check our rules for all info regarding this policy. Other things to note This is a 2nd floor walk up. The stairs are steep due to the 1870s building and the tall ceilings. There is a loft directly above this one so when both have guests, you will most likely hear some noises above you occasionally (footsteps walking, chairs sliding in and out, doors closing) due to the old building and original hardwood floors on the 3rd floor. We're on a main street in a lively neighborhood with everything you need just steps away. Detroit is experiencing an extreme growth period so there are constantly city upgrades happening around us. If you're used to city noise, this space is perfect. We also provide earplugs should city noises be unfamiliar to you. The quiet hours of the building are 11pm - 8am when both spaces are rented at the same time.
