Glamping with tent, entire cottage, Onanome Snapper Lock

Snapper Rock is a private cottage located at the foot of Mt. Mochom in Onoma, in the southern part of Yakushima. The inn itself can be enjoyed as a glamping facility, with tents on the deck and campfires outside. The room is equipped with chairs and dishes used for camping, so you can enjoy the feeling of camping. 6-minute walk to the nearest bus stop. It is a quiet place surrounded by nature. The living room is about 32 square meters. 2 people in the deck tent and 3 people in the living room It can accommodate up to 5 guests. (One of the beds in the room is a sofa bed) The deck has an outdoor table and hammock, so you can relax while bathing in the forest. The forest in front of the deck is a completely private space, and sometimes monkeys and deer visit. The building was self-built by the owner. The building materials used are Japanese cedar and local cedar. The walls are plastered with lacquer, and the kitchen is made from recycled waste materials. We aim to be an inn that is friendly to both people and the environment, by not providing disposable amenities and keeping equipment to a minimum. There are insects and wild animals on Yakushima, so please be careful not to let them in when opening the windows. Other things to note Note: During the rainy season, from 8 am to 9 am, there are several outbreaks of "winged ants" on the island. They are attracted to lights, so we ask that you close the windows and turn off the lights in the room. Thank you for your understanding.
