The space Welcome to our charming flat on the ground floor of a picturesque character property, built in the 1850s and centrally located in the vibrant town of Totnes. The exterior has been freshly painted and the outdoor areas landscaped, while inside we've gone for a full renovation to try and create a stylish, modern feel. Enjoy the comfort of underfloor heating throughout the flat, newly insulated walls and new double-glazed windows for extra comfort. Entering the flat, you will find yourself in a spacious and bright kitchen/diner, complete with a large round table that comfortably seats up to six people. The kitchen boasts modern appliances and ample counter space for all your cooking needs. Both the master bedroom and lounge are equally spacious and feature a charming bay window with views of the front garden and the surrounding area. The master bedroom is a spacious and peaceful retreat, furnished with a king size bed, wardrobe, a vanity table, and a comfortable chair. The lounge is another comfortable space, equipped with a large 3-seater sofa, a chesterfield armchair, a modern armchair and a 43" television. Additionally, the lounge features an extra-fast 80mb Fibre Broadband hub. The second bedroom may be a bit snug, but it still provides a double bed and chest of drawers for storing clothes. It may be tight for two adults so please bear that in mind before booking. Lastly, the bathroom features a large walk-in shower with a rainfall-style showerhead, and the underfloor heating on the tiled floor adds a touch of luxury. Guest access The property is divided into two flats, and this listing is for the entire ground floor flat only, which includes exclusive access to the outdoor space in front with ample garden furniture. We also own the outdoor space at the back by the stairs to upstairs flat, which features more seating. However, please note that the upstairs flat has the right to use this space and will occasionally use it to have a cigarette. Please message us about parking. The steepness of the drive and difficulty some people have in parking has caused some of our reviews to be less than 5-stars and so we’ve removed it as one of the searchable property features within AirBNB. We're happy for guests to park in the parking space at the flat but please note that it is offered as a complimentary extra only and it is better for people to park in the nearby long stay car park, situated a short few minutes walk towards the town centre. Finally, we like to leave some small welcome treats (milk, coffee pods, etc), please do let us know if you have any dietary requirements though and we can modify. Thank you! Other things to note The flat may not be suitable for Under 2 years olds as it’s not baby proof and there are sharp edges on the coffee table. Please get in touch to discuss further. Please note that due to the location of the flat in a valley of sorts, the mobile phone signal is not great. It is best in the bay windows and out the front of the flat but still patchy. Please consider communicating with internet based phone service providers so you can use the fast broadband to make calls.
