Diane's Dream Indian Beach Condo Escape
This beautiful two-bedroom condo is seconds from the beach by deck walkway, cathedral ceilings in the living area with sleep sofa, a private ocean-view deck, fully-equipped kitchen, washer, dryer, three TV's, updated bathrooms, AND a 50 game home video machine (free play) including PacMan and Gallega. Also, there is a choice of an elevator or steps to the condo, a community pool, hot tub, grills, and parking. Work from here with private Wifi (110 Mbps). Enjoy this oasis! This third-floor condo is the top floor which means there is no one above you! The kitchen is totally open to the main living area with views of the water from the kitchen. Amenities include a washer, dryer, microwave, toaster, blender, drip and a pod coffee maker and even a pancake griddle for those relaxing vacation breakfasts! My unit has been renting for years, and I always keep it in tip-top shape. The entire complex has been redone from Hurricane Florence in 2018, and the condo has new flooring, and a brand new kitchen. New photos are coming soon! In the center of the condo complex is a pool and hot tub. There are plenty of chaise lounges for Vitamin D collection. The walkways lead straight over the dunes to the beach and there is never competition for sand space! The common area has several charcoal grills and a covered picnic table area for guest use. Parking is located below the buildings. One last point to mention, there is elevator access from the parking area, if you want to skip the stairs! Salter Path is a quiet, primarily residential beach town on the Southern Outer Banks in the town of Indian Beach. Interestingly, the beach faces south, which generally means smaller waves and better shell hunting! There are a few local restaurants, with a focus on seafood. Our favorites are Crab Shack and Clamdigger Inn (almost everything is fried!). There's also a terrific fish market - Willis's - and and a couple of 'back porch' shrimp sellers. If you're willing to drive 15 minutes in either direction, the island opens up with many more activities. I hope to add more details, but for now, I'm just going to list some things that we do every summer, in our "15 minute" travel window. - NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores - only 3 miles away! - grocery stores (Food Lion, Publix) - Boat rental - Kayak/paddleboard/Jet Ski rental - Fishing piers - Fine dining (Island Grille is tops) - Movie theaters - Go Karts / Mini Golf - Laser tag - Guided fishing trips - Ice Cream shops. If you're willing to drive 20-25 minutes: - Morehead City waterfront (shopping, dining, antiques) - Historic Beaufort, historic Swansboro (shopping, dining, antiques) Surely I'm leaving things out...trust in your favorite search engine. The condo is located in the middle of the island with Atlantic Beach to the east and Emerald Isle Beach to the west.
