It is close to many hikes and the Appalachian Trail as well as skiing/tubing at Wintergreen, multiple wineries, breweries, and cideries. Pets are considered but must be approved by the owner. An open concept living area forms the heart of the home, where large windows frame breathtaking vistas and a cozy atmosphere invites relaxation after a day outdoors. The kitchen flows seamlessly into this space and is ideal for gathering with family and friends. There is a round dining table with seating for 6-8 (*leaf in hall closet) and bar seating in the kitchen for 2. On the main level is also a half bath, washer/dryer, and a queen bedroom with balcony and ensuite bath. Downstairs, three spacious bedrooms provide peaceful retreats, each designed to capture soft natural light and serene views of the surrounding landscape. With two additional well-appointed bathrooms, the 1st floor of this home balances everyday convenience with thoughtful design, featuring inviting finishes that echo the calm of its mountain setting. The newly added game/movie room is a vibrant, inviting space designed for fun, connection and relaxation. Anchored by a large TV, its the perfect spot of movies nights or sports game. Just out the door of the game room, the hot tub is perfectly positioned to take in sweeping mountain views, creating a peaceful retreat that feels both luxurious and deeply connected to everything Nelson county has to offer! Enjoy the solo stove on the large, expansive deck while you sit under the stars or at the outdoor table. The home is accessed by a steep driveway. Our guests park without issue, but we want to be upfront so you can plan accordingly. We have regular professional pest control; however, as with most homes in this area, occasional insects may still be seen. Guest access You will have access to the home and property. Other things to note The driveway is steep and partly gravel...a 4 WD is not required, we just want you to be prepared before arrival. If snow is expected, we ask that you park at the top of the driveway so that our plows can have access.
