We have two holiday apartments available at Watamu Beach Cottages. CAPTAIN’S PENTHOUSE is a stylish apartment found at the top of the Clubhouse building, offering spectacular tree top views. Guests enjoy the ever-changing colours of a Watamu sunset from the private, covered balcony. MARINE SEA VIEW FAMILY APARTMENT is a spacious, self contained two bedroomed apartment overlooking the gardens with a iview of the sea. *We offer a variety of other unique accommodation choices at our Resort The space CAPTAINS PENTHOUSE offers a private, air-conditioned open plan bedroom with a custom, built-in king-size bed, an ensuite bathroom, and a dedicated workspace with a view & a TV. The seating area faces the wide sliding doors that lead out to the private balcony area. Enjoy the airy, covered balcony that also serves as an outdoor, fully equipped kitchen with all you need to prepare your meals. There is a table for dining whilst enjoying beautiful, treetop views and the cool sea breeze. You can readily enjoy the comfort of the Rooftop Lounge on the floor above, where sundowners whilst watching the sunset are recommended. MARINE SEA VIEW APARTMENT is the ideal choice for a family vacation - it boasts an open, spacious main bedroom and living area with an inter-leading second, semi-private twin bedroom, ideal for the kids. The separate ensuite bathroom leads off the bedroom, has a shower and offers additional space for clothes storage. The living room opens out through glass sliding doors on to the covered patio. The separate dining room leads into a fully-equipped kitchen for all your self-catering needs. The apartment is air-conditioned and offers beautiful garden and sea views from the patio. Relax and enjoy your meals on the terrace overlooking the Indian Ocean whilst enjoying the gentle sounds of the waves below. *DISCLAIMER* PLEASE NOTE THAT WHEN BOOKING EITHER OF THESE APARTMENTS YOU WILL BE ALLOCATED WHICHEVER ONE IS AVAILABLE AT THE TIME Guest access Guests have use of all common areas. Our beachfront property has two private paths leading directly onto the beautiful beach of the Watamu National Marine Park. Enjoy one of our 4 lookout points with amazing, panoramic sea views set along the front of our property. Our lovely, chilled BAMBA KOFI SNACKBAR is exclusively available to all our guests – Breakfasts can be enjoyed here every morning, and other meals & refreshments can be ordered throughout the day. *We do recommend ordering ahead to help us get your meals to you without too much of a wait! We offer fast speed Wifi throughout our property and have a solar backup system at the Snackbar Clubhouse, to ensure constant connectivity. You have access to our sparkling, salt water pool to cool off, chill on the sun beds, read, or doze. There are several chill areas around the property and at the top of the Clubhouse you will find The Rooftop Lounge. For an extra special addition to your relaxation, we have an exclusive massage oasis overlooking the ocean where you can indulge in a SEA BREEZE MASSAGE. If you need a little activity, why not try a game of Pétanque or Table Tennis? Explore Watamu on an E-Bike for hire, or take a Kite Surfing lesson... all these are available from our resort. Other things to note Watamu offers many activities and places to visit, and easy access to shops and restaurants along Turtle Bay Road and in Watamu Village. Simply arrange a Boda Boda or Tuk Tuk with our staff. We have 24 hour security, a fire safety station, and access to panic buttons in an emergency. All our units are serviced daily by our housekeeping team. *We unfortunately do experience general, national power outages which are out of our control - we do have generators available as a back-up during the day & up until 10 pm only. We adhere to a strict "no noise" policy after this time, to be considerate to all our guests wanting a peaceful night’s sleep, so no generators can be operated during the late night hours. We do appreciate your understanding when these events do occur. PLEASE REFER TO OUR HOUSE MANUAL IN EACH OF OUR UNITS FOR USEFUL INFORMATION AND RULES THAT APPLY DURING YOUR STAY.
