Search firstmoonfarm on Insta. The space Your private space includes a spacious bedroom with a comfortable double bed and mosquito net, and an adjoined bathroom. You'll share our well-equipped outdoor kitchen, which you're welcome to use. We can make space for more guests if needed - just send us a message. The garden has a hammock and dining table overlooking the valley and hills. Light up a fire, sit back and watch the moon rise in the cool of the evening. Enjoy a nourishing herbal bath under the stars in the fire-heated outdoor bathtub. Time moves slower here. Guest access "First Moon Farm" is our likkle smallholding, with vegetables and herbs growing right beside the house. The house is accessed through the family yaad, a 1-2 minute walk up a pathway to the hilltop. There's plenty to do right here. Relax in the hammock, help out on the farm, take a walk through the community, come hold a vibe with our family and friends. Every Thursday night community members take it in turn to host a dancehall party at Mango Tree Bar, which guests are more than welcome to attend. The house backs on to bush, and is a 40 minute hike away a secret wild beach. both can be explored with Bobby as your guide. Please note, the pathway up to the house is steep, so may not be suitable for everyone. Other things to note We prepare food twice a day, and offer a hearty and nourishing breakfast and dinner including herbal tea and fresh juices. Our food is mainly Ital and uses plenty of fresh vegetables, and we can cater to most dietary requirements. This is not a luxury stay, but homely and authentic. You will hear and feel the buzz of the community—including the sound of vehicles and of course sound systems—but also birds, lizards, and the hilltop breeze in the trees. We are surrounded by bush so mosquitos and sandflies are to be expected, especially in the rainy season. Pack deet insect spray and light clothing that covers you for the evenings.
