Kitchen is stocked with all cooking and dining needs. There are normal spices and condiments available, a new12-cup programmable coffee maker and of course, wine glasses. For those traveling from other countries please note DO NOT DISPOSE TOILET PAPER THE TOILET. There are ceiling fans in most of the rooms and a floor fan. Typically the temperature drops when the sun sets and there is no need for air conditioning. Jump in the pool and cool yourself from the sun and enjoy the view! A Bose entertainment system allows you to connect your device via Bluetooth to enjoy your favorite music. 11/3/2023 Update: portable air conditioners have been added to the bedrooms. Additional lighting was added in the bathrooms, the dining room and cooking areas. I have been listening to our wonderful guests and added an iron and ironing board as well as a fire extinguisher in the kitchen. Enjoy!! Guest access Your concierge, Marvin, will meet you at the entrance and guide you to the parking area. The driveway is pretty steep and narrow, but recently refinished for easier access. Low sitting cars may not be able to make it up the driveway. If you come in your own car you can come and go as you please. The gate at the entrance will remain open until 10pm as it is safe here now. No worries about any previous issues in El Salvador. If you plan to come home later, Marvin will be available. Other things to note You must be able to climb stairs. There are 64 steps from the parking area to the main level of the home. The driveway is fairly steep as well. No toilet paper in the toilets. We have two large tanks that are filled in the a.m. daily, but it is not like in the city or USA where you have unlimited water. There is plenty, but please be mindful to not let the water run unnecessarily. There is a paddle board and mountain bikes available for you to enjoy! Wildlife is a part of your daily adventure. Beautiful birds and one or two iguanas live in the mountains above. But don't worry! There are screens on all the windows. There are also geckos that love to make kissing noises, spiders, but most are not poisonous. Update 11/3/2023 - The President came to the lake and some of his entourage stayed here from 10/24-11/3. Exciting! Replaced piping under the sink in kitchen. Added fire extinguisher. Planted celery, kale, and peppers in the patio pots for you to consume. The papaya and banana trees are getting huge. Added locks to the master bedroom door and bathroom doors. 12/29-March 2024 More cosmetic updates! New custom tiles were installed on the overflow wall of the Infinity pool! It is a stunning piece of art! A carport was added to provide shade over the cars. Curtains have been added to the grand front window, providing some shade from the afternoon sun as well as privacy in the evenings and early mornings. More to come! Enjoy!!
