The Dune & Field Pavilion

Exclusive detached wooden pavilion offering a panoramic 240-degree view over active, seasonal farmland towards the dunes. Designed for mindful international travelers who appreciate quiet craftsmanship, premium styling, and travel with deep respect for the raw Dutch nature. Not a commercial venture; fresh breakfast is delivered daily to your door. If you seek a generic, low-budget tourist stay or an Amsterdam nightlife hub, this pristine sanctuary is not the right match for you. The space Located in our backyard, just beyond our glass conservatory (which we do not use when guests are staying). Through large sliding doors, you look out over open fields towards the dunes and watch the seasonal crops change. Traffic is audible on weekdays, but you enjoy complete privacy. For impeccable hygiene, we maintain a strict 4-hour cleaning protocol with hand-ironed, hotel-quality bed linen. We strongly advise against wearing shoes in the Pavilion. Always wear slippers inside, which are provided by us free of charge. Please note: There is no cooking stove available. The bathroom has an open layout without an interior door. Guest access The pavilion is located 25 meters back from the main road. Access is via the garden path past the main house and our conservatory. Guests enjoy exclusive use of the south-west hardwood terrace. Mandatory parking rule: You must park tightly against the green iron fence on the right. Central parking is strictly prohibited. Drive with extreme caution: a very busy public bicycle path runs directly in front of our entrance, requiring alertness when entering and exiting. Other things to note Accessibility: Built on a steep slope with steps; steep drop below the terrace. Strictly unsuitable for limited mobility or children. 100% Smoke-Free: Traditional smoking and vaping/e-cigarettes are banned. Detection of smoke or chemical residue results in a strict €500 deep-cleaning fee. Logistics: Vogelenzang location. Hillegom station is 1.7km away; trains to Amsterdam stop before midnight. Not suitable for daily nightlife. Complimentary bikes provided to explore local nature.
