Our home is in Alajuela in a calm neighborhood just a few minutes away from Juan Santamaría International Airport and pretty close to tourist attractions like Poás Volcano & La Paz waterfall. The house has 4 rooms (2 with private bathroom). There is a garage for 2 cars, 2 more bathrooms & a private studio with another full bathroom. There is a fully equipped kitchen. Relax on the hammock at the terrace or enjoy your stay looking at our gardens, with the visit of hummingbirds & butterflies. 4 Private rooms with queen size bed, AC & TV (2 rooms have private bathroom and there are 2 other bathrooms next to the living room). There is also a sofa bed in the living room. There is a small studio for WFH with its own private full bathroom. There is table space in the dinning room for 10 people, 10 plates, etc., and a full kitchen with oven, microwave and even an ice machine. There is a terrace with a hammock, 2 gardens, a laundry room, board games, Wifi and is really quiet. There is also a garage for 2 cars. You can use the kitchen, living room, terrace, patios, laundry room and the garage, you'll only share the space with a hummingbird that comes in the mornings to the backyard. We'll be happy to help you organize your trip, or give you tips to guide you on your trip in our country if you want. There is a park just a block away with trees, a basketball court, local police station and a kids playground. Also a mini market a couple of blocks away. Our home is located 2.5 miles (4km) from the airport. An Uber ride to the airport is about $5-10 (¢2,500-¢5,000 colones). To Alajuela Center is about $5. To San Jose downtown about $15-25. With local taxis it is a bit more expensive. The neighborhood bus station is a couple of blocks away, and gets to the Alajuela Center bus station (FECOSA), from there you can take plenty of buses.
