Come stay here at Bear Creek cabin & take advantage of all the things to do in historic Nelsonville. Our cozy place is located in the perfect location with just being a few minutes outside of city limits & having Wayne National Forrest right behind our backyard. Bear Creek has two bedrooms & one bathroom with new flooring throughout the downstairs, a new shower in the cute bathroom and kick back in the comfortable new recliners in the living room. Cook up some yummy food in the full kitchen then hangout on either the front porch, back porch or even the cool balcony! You can grill out in the backyard, play games & sit by the fire in the evenings. Relax and watch a movie on the new television with free WiFi after a busy day of fun filled activities. Our guests will have access to the entire cabin including the being able to go out on the upstairs balcony. They may walk behind the cabin and enjoy Wayne National Forest. We are located on a quite dead end road just minutes from town. It's close to all of the attractions but far enough out to feel like you are in the country! No worries with parking, it’s off street with a driveway. Quite dead end road with Wayne National Forest foot trails. We want to make you stay as fun as possible. There are board games, puzzles, fishing poles, bicycles & roasting sticks will be provided for the fire pit. There is a hammock, corn hole boards & an outdoor cooler all in the backyard. Bear Creek is close to all of the fun things to do in Nelsonville & the surrounding areas. Check out the Historic public square where you can grab a slice of pizza from Mama Renie's or stop into one of the oldest taverns in Ohio- The Mine opened it's doors in 1842! Stop in and try the famous "Mine Burger" along with a cold drink. Take a ride on the Scenic Railroad Train or listen for the “ghost train” at Moonville Tunnel. You can always catch a show at Movies Ten theater where tickets are only $4 then feel like a kid again by playing games at the Fun Barn! Enjoy the day on the Hocking River by kayak or tubes from Adventure Pro Outdoors! They will take care of all your river needs & have a blast floating all day. Spend the day hiking at the beautiful Hocking Hills trails. You can watch the water at Cedar Falls and take in all the beauty at Old Man's & Ash Caves. Water sounding like fun? Take your pick at all of the ones to choose from.Burr Oak, Lake Hope or go to Lake Snowden and play on the water inflatables. The new Baileys Trail is open and ready for all you bike riders!
