The space 🍃 THE TERRACE OVERLOOKING THE WOODS: A NEST AMONG THE ROOFTOPS AND THE GREENERY La Terrazza sul Bosco is a romantic and cozy 45-square-meter open-plan apartment, designed to offer two people a stay characterized by profound tranquility, intimacy, and beauty. Located on the first and top floor of an Alpine stone house in our small hamlet of just seven houses, the property is immersed in the silence of the forest and has a completely separate entrance, accessible via a short flight of twelve steps. The interiors tell our story through a unique and harmonious style: a genuine blend of antique family furniture, contemporary details and one-of-a-kind pieces handcrafted in our NaturAS artisan workshop. A photovoltaic system on the roof generates clean energy, allowing you to enjoy a vacation in deep harmony with the environment. 💧 YOUR ROOFTOP TERRACE AND STONE MINI POOL The true heart of the property is the large terrace for exclusive use, private and sheltered from prying eyes, with an open view of the treetops and the village. Here, the stone mini pool for two awaits you, an intimate space designed to offer you maximum freedom and flexibility in every season: Tailored logistics and management: You will be responsible for filling and emptying the pool with fresh, clean water each time you use it, controlling the temperature independently and at no additional cost. Summer coolness and winter warmth: In summer, you can keep it pleasantly warm to cool off between sunbathing and relaxing on the sun loungers on the sun deck; in the colder seasons, you can heat it up to 45°C, treating yourself to the unique thrill of a steamy outdoor bath. Sheltered from the elements: The pool is in a covered location, so you can enjoy the magic of a relaxing dip even when it's raining or snowing outside. Completing the terrace, you will find a misting shower to refresh yourself on hot days, a covered lounge area where you can dine or have breakfast in the cool, and a brazier for the evening (with the first supply of bioethanol included; subsequent refills cost €6), so you can toast under the North Star in front of the warmth of the fire. 🏡 INDOOR COMFORT AND AMENITIES The interior details are designed to make you feel at home, whether for a weekend getaway, a longer stay, or a remote work trip: Equipped kitchen: complete with a double induction hob, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, and a microwave oven. Upon arrival, you'll find a complimentary welcome kit with coffee, tea, sugar, salt, olive oil, and vinegar. Sleeping area and bathroom: a large bathroom with shower and a romantic double bedroom. All linens and towels are included (for stays of at least 7 nights, towels are changed midway through the stay). Technology and climate control: Free Wi-Fi, Smart TV with Tivùsat, heating, air conditioning, and window screens. Laundry: Laundry room a stone's throw away with a washing machine and a portable outdoor clothesline; dryer available (service at a small extra cost). Parking and electric cars: Free on-street parking just 50 meters from the entrance. An electric vehicle charging station is available (for a fee). 🥐 BREAKFAST IN A PICNIC BASKET (Extra service) Upon request, we can leave two large picnic baskets outside your door for a delicious sweet and savory breakfast, prepared with wholesome, organic, local products. Cost: €18 per day for one person / €30 per day for two people (optional service, to be paid on-site). 🥾 NATURE, VILLAGES, AND FLAVORS: THINGS TO DO IN THE AREA Located at an altitude of 700 meters, the property offers a perfect haven of tranquility, but it is also a strategic starting point for exploring the wonders of Lower Piedmont (all within an hour's drive): Nature and Hiking: Trails for walking and e-bike rides start right outside your door. Nearby, you can visit the Ciciu del Villar Nature Reserve with its famous earth pyramids, or explore authentic Occitan villages such as Rore, Torrette and Chianale (among the most beautiful villages in Italy). Majestic Alpine Peaks: For mountain lovers, the Colle dell'Agnello (2,748 m) offers epic scenery made famous by the Giro d'Italia, leading to Saint-Véran, the highest inhabited municipality in Europe. Sports and Snow in Winter: In winter, the area is ideal for cross-country skiing (Valmala), snowshoeing in the woods, ski mountaineering and small family ski resorts. Food, Wine, and Traditions: Discover the typical Ravioles of the Varaita Valley (traditional gnocchi with local cheese and melted butter), porcini mushrooms, and chestnuts from our woods. In a short time, you can reach the famous hills of the Langhe for tastings of great wines and, in autumn, to experience the magic of the White Truffle of Alba. Art, History, and Shopping: Visit medieval villages and towns such as Saluzzo, Cuneo, and Mondovì, the Royal Palace of Racconigi, Manta Castle, or Staffarda Abbey. You can go shopping in outlet villages (such as Mondovicino) or treat yourself to a trip to Turin (Mole Antonelliana, Egyptian Museum). Complete privacy: The accommodation and terrace are entirely for your exclusive use. No space or time of day is shared with other guests. Four-legged friends: Your dogs are welcome! We only ask that you take two precautions for everyone's well-being: dogs are not allowed in the mini pool, and please call them off if they bark, so as to preserve the great tranquility of the village. Your hosts: We live less than 100 meters from you in the small hamlet. We will be happy to welcome you, give you recommendations on hiking trails and local restaurants, and remain at your disposal for anything you need, while always ensuring the utmost privacy. Guest access We are located just 2 km from the town of Rossana (Cn), in a very small village consisting of only 7 houses, surrounded by greenery and woods. You will arrive here very easily by taking the paved hill road, which is slightly uphill for a short stretch and has a couple of hairpin bends. Only the last 200 meters are on a gravel dirt road, but the road is easy and completely flat. Free parking is available outdoors and adjacent to the property (50 meters). The access is independent. Return is free at any time. The apartment, the large terrace, and the mini pool are all for you. There are no places or moments of sharing with other Guests or people. Only we hosts, who live about 100 meters away, will be at your disposal if needed or if you want. When you arrive here we will personally welcome you and give you all the information to enjoy your private spaces in autonomy and privacy. If you need to arrive later than 8:00 p.m., we will send you all the instructions to access the apartment independently, and we will meet the next day at the reception to register your government-issued IDs. They are often personalized, because they unite the recipient with the personality and subtle energy of the tree of origin. During your stay, you can create your unique and personalized wooden jewel with your creativity and your hands.
