Sarsa Cottage will welcome you with all the home from home comforts. We are only a short walk from the bustling town centre of Ballynahinch which holds a weekly market and has gorgeous coffee shops, gift shops ,and some fabulous bars and restaurants. If you’re attending a wedding party at the Millbrook house hotel, Montalto carriage rooms or Hinch distillery Sarsa Cottage is very close to all these venues. The space Sarsa Cottage has been decorated and furnished to a very high standard . It simply says luxury from the minute you arrive on the property. The lounge area has a 75” flat screen Tv with a blue toothed Bose’s sound system that guarantees you a great Cinema experience for those nights in with Netflix. The bedroom has a kingsize bed with a sealy orthopaedic mattress and is dressed in the best of Linens which are 900 thread count. There is also a fold out bed which can be set up in the livingroom area for a third guest, We will turn your bed down and leave you a little something on your pillow for your first evening while you are out and about , so all you need to do when you return is relax and snuggle up in bed for a great nights sleep so you can be well rested for a wonderful next day woodland stroll through Montalto estate followed by if you wish a gourmet breakfast at the Montalto estate restaurant / coffee shop or in one of the local restaurants . Guest access Sarsa Cottage is located close to the main house ( Sarsa house) but it has its own front door, alarm security system. It’s a self contained 1 bedroom self catering apartment. Other things to note Sarsa cottage is perfectly located if your looking a golfers trip as your know more than 30 minutes from any of the major golf clubs. The closest golf club is the Spa Golf Club in ballynahinch which is only a five minute drive away from Sarsa cottage. Are you can play the greens at the world famous Royal County Down which is around 20/30 mins away . If you’re not a golfer there is still loads to see and do. Montalto house and Gardens is a must see when you’re in the area. Or you can travel to Hillsborough , which is now called Royal Hillsborough as it’s where the royal family stay when in Northern Ireland . You can visit Hillsborough castle and take a tour of the house and gardens. As we are very centrally located, there is far too many locations to list that is worth a day trip like the fishing village of Strangford and Portaferry with its fantastic seafood bar and restaurants. We will be only to happy to advice and direct you however you’d like to plan your day. We are so centrally located to visit all the estates , National Trust properties, castles, and the Famous Mountains of Mourne, as well as picturesque towns and villages.
