Liodoro B&B is located inside an ancient 1800s Baroque Palace, a few meters from Piazza Duomo, where the Cathedral of Catania stands. This is a large apartment on the second floor of the building, accessible by lift, completely renovated and overlooking the city's rooftops. Inside, our cosy rooms are ready to give you a peaceful stay. Each room is inspired by the elements and colours that are symbolic of this land. The space The rooms offer a unique experience inspired by the colours and natural landscapes of Mount Etna and the underground river of Catania. The Lavica room evokes the black of the lava stone, the red of the glowing lava and the green of the lush vegetation of the volcano. The Amenano room, with its minimal but colourful style, incorporates wooden elements and large windows that offer a view of the city, making it youthful, bright and welcoming. The "A Muntagna" room recalls the colours of snow-covered Etna and offers a splendid view of the city's rooftops through its large windows. Located in the heart of the historic centre, the rooms allow you to enjoy all the services of the city centre. Despite the central location, the rooms are very quiet thanks to their location on a high floor and the windows fitted with double glazing. I mean, you really don't have to think about anything except enjoy your stay! Guest access Check-in: The privacy of our guests and flexible hours are fundamental elements. You can access your room independently through a home automation system, guaranteeing flexibility in check-in without time constraints or fixed appointments. On the day of arrival, the room will be available from 1 pm. If necessary, you can access the room in advance, leave your luggage or use the common lounge while you wait for the room to be ready. We will be at your best for any need. Check-Out: On the day of departure, the room will be at your disposal until 10:00 am. If you need a late check-out, we will try to accommodate you, subject to availability. You can store your luggage for the whole day and return independently to pick it up. The large common lounge and a service bathroom will also be available outside of check-out hours. During your stay We are always ready to assist our guests to ensure an unforgettable stay in Catania. We offer advice on restaurants, trattorias, wine bars, excursions and much more, ensuring a complete and personalised experience. Other things to note Room cleaning: The cleaning and restoration of the rooms are scheduled after the third night. However, you can request daily cleaning or a daily linen change for a small fee. Breakfast: We offer the option of adding a Sicilian or international breakfast to your booking. For a small supplement, you will receive a coupon to present at the bar below the hotel, which will entitle you to three products per person: a coffee product, a fruit juice and a sweet or savoury dish, Sicilian or international, of your choice. Tours and Excursions: Catania is ideally located, close to many other beautiful locations. We are happy to customise your stay by organising tours to Etna, Taormina and Giardini, Syracuse Ortigia and Noto, Agrigento, and many other destinations. Bike Rental: For those who prefer to explore Catania by bike, we offer a bike rental service, both muscular and electric, available by the hour or for the whole day. It is possible to travel the entire coast up to Acicastello and Acitrezza. Car and Scooter Rental: If you wish to visit the neighbouring cities such as Giardini, Taormina, Syracuse, Noto, etc., our partner rental agency will provide you with the ideal car or scooter at discounted rates, with free delivery to the property. Coin-operated laundry: Under the B&B there is a coin-operated laundry open 7 days a week, ideal for extended stays. Transfer Service: We offer a transfer service from the airport to the property and back. Just provide your flight details, and the driver will monitor any delays, waiting for you at the airport exit with a sign with your name on it. Beach Station: During the summer, we offer access to a nearby beach at discounted rates. Let us know the day before and we will book a spot with an umbrella and deckchair. You can add a cabin on site and, as our guests, you will be entitled to discounts at the bar or restaurant of the establishment, with a round-trip shuttle on request. Dinners, Apericene and Tastings: We have agreements with excellent restaurants, allowing you to add dinner packages or tastings to your booking, with the possibility of enjoying everything comfortably in your room. Parking: If you arrive by car and need parking, please do not hesitate to ask. We will show you the nearest car parks.
