Restored countryside Coach House

Originally the coach house for the horse and cart of the local doctor. The design keeps many of the original features, cleverly integrated into a really beautiful and relaxed place to stay. You have wonderful views across the fields, plenty of field and track walks from the front door, local village amenities such as a pub, village shop and garage, plus direct access to the A34 and M3 for easy travel. Please note that bedroom 2 has a small (4 ft) double and is accessed by steep stairs. The space Comprising a downstairs living and kitchen area, separate bathroom with relaxing rain shower, and upstairs a luxury double bedroom with Egyptian cotton bed linen, the views from the bedroom window over the fields towards Stockbridge are sensational. It also features a stairgate to prevent anyone tumbling down the stairs. Above the shower room, up some steep stairs, is a small (4 ft) double bed which is very cosy indeed! It features the same superb quality bed linen as you would hope. It also features a stairgate to keep everyone safe. A Freeview TV is in the living area, and guest wi-fi allows both you and the TV access to all the services for both work and relaxation. 5G mobile is also available here. Egyptian cotton Towels are supplied for a wonderfully soft and fluffy after shower experience. The kitchen has a fridge with a small freezer compartment, there is a 2-ring gas hob and a microwave combined with a small oven and grill. Central heating is provided by radiators, and there is unlimited hot water. Outside a table and chairs are provided for when the weather is fine, next to your own parking area. Double gates allow great privacy after you park. The village shop, which is a 10-minute walk or 1 minute drive, can provide almost everything you may need including freshly baked bread (except Sundays) it’s usually best to order the day before. The Coach and Horses pub is almost opposite the shop, and serves great food. The Wonston Arms, the “best little pub in Hampshire” is a few minutes’ drive away in Wonston and has superb guest beers with food available on some nights, currently pizza on Wednesday and curry on Friday, please check on their website. There is a minimum stay of 2 nights, however do bear in mind the one-off cleaning fee applies however many nights you may choose to stay with us.
