Lovely Home on the North Fork

Welcome to our lovely home located in the quiet, woodsy hamlet of Baiting Hollow! We are located right at the beginning of the North Fork wine trail, are surrounded by charming farms and are just a 7 min walk to the private keyed entrance to our beach on the Sound! Long walks on the Sound and hiking in Wildwood State Park is right outside your door. Easy access to award winning wineries, delicious restaurants, the Hamptons and Riverhead for all your major conveniences. The space NOTE: In the House Manual section is a guide to the entire area and our favorite places! Very useful! We have a 3 level, 3 bedroom/2 bathroom house. Street level: Ground level bedroom with queen size bed, reading nook, mini fridge and TV with Netflix, Max, Prime, etc. There is also a private entrance from the driveway from this level. Main level: You have access to the kitchen, microwave, stove, bathroom, back patio, BBQ and front porch with fire pit table. Upstairs: This is our private area, no access. The private beach on the Sound is a 7 minute walk, Wildwood Park and the Boy Scout Camp are on either side that offers lots of walking trails. Welcome to our enchanted forest! Guest access All access with the exception of one bedroom upstairs and the utility room in the ground level basement. During your stay The owners are living at the house and you might get a glimpse of our two teenage sons. Other things to note We are a 5 minute drive to the first Hampton Jitney stop at the Calverton Terminal, 25 minutes to the Hamptons (Westhampton) and 75 miles from Midtown Manhattan. A 10 min drive to Riverhead will have you at Tanger Outlets, Splish Splash, Costco, BJ's, Target and major grocery stores. We are just a mile from Baiting Hollow Vineyards they are the first winery on the North Fork Wine Trail. Sound Avenue is a gorgeous drive all the way to Greenport with tons of wineries, restaurants, local shops, farm stands, apple picking, charm, charm, charm!
