Quaint shepherds hut with beautiful views &hot tub

SHUT DOWN FOR TWO MONTHS TO GET OUR FIELD READY FOR OUR 4 BABY ALPACAS THAT ARE ARRIVING If you're looking for somewhere that's chilled&romantic, with a few sheep thrown in,you've found the perfect place. Whether you want to go hiking, take a day trip to Brighton or just relax on a deck chair with a glass of Prosecco, our quaint little shepherd's hut is just for you! Beautiful peaceful surroundings, the birds chorus&gorgeous clear starry skies await you. Not forgetting the bubbling hot tub! The space The hut sits in a huge field behind the house. It’s private in the fact, there’s a tall walled garden between us. I can’t see anything but the chimney from any of the rooms in the house. The entire back area is yours for your stay, so the field, hut area, theres an area with sun loungers and the hot tub, which you can use as often as you like and it’s completely free. Just a little reminder Im very happy for you to blast your music out, there’s only the sheep and moles who can hear it. There’s also a huge storage area underneath the bed for bags or clothes etc. There will always be enough coals and logs for a bbq or the fire pit but if you do require more, happy to sell you some as keep plenty spare. If you do happen to forget something, please knock on the door and ask if i have, always happy to help if i can. Please be mindful we sit on a plot of land that we share with an Equine centre, so expect a small amount of vehicles during the week& one or two at weekend. The hospital shuts at 5.30pm unless it’s an emergency and opens at 8.30am weekdays. Closed at the weekend. The field the hut sits in, has a long wide strip that is mowed weekly, the rest is natural so expect dandelions and thistles and lots of wildlife, butterflies, crickets etc No doubt during your stay, you will see a new mole hill appear, but as yet, we have not sighted Mr Mole. Also be aware, we have a ‘lav shack’ or as I call it, Narnia… It’s a compost loo so no flush. You just lift the lid and shovel a little compost on your business and leave it. I will empty after you leave, yes it’s a little strange at first but it’s so simple to use and excellent for the environment. Also we have recently had new LED lighting fitted to our hot tub, but if you want to be in darkness that’s absolutely fine, on the back of the tub is a huge switch, just turn it off and on there. In the welcome book that’s in the hut, I will include all instructions for the Wi-Fi, induction hob, hot tub and wood burner etc. But if you do need extra help, with anything at all, drop me a txt or pop up to the house, I’m more than happy to help. COLD WEATHER NOTICE, in this wintery weather the shower is prone to freezing. So I will switch it off between 10pm-8am also if the temp is below 0! Happy to put on if requested! Thanks for your understanding. Guest access The guests have access to the field the shepherds hut sits in, it’s beautiful at the minute specially when it’s a cold morning, all frosty and misty. If your bringing your furry friend, they will absolutely love the field. and if like myself love taking selfies, stand in the middle and take photographs of yourself, it feels like your in the middle of nowhere. Along the back of the house there’s an area we call ‘the beach’ its a pebbly square with beautiful smelling lavender and various grasses, its also home to two sun loungers, a little table and another fire pit and just behind is the hot tub. The views to this are truly beautiful and peaceful so a must on an evening to sit back and chill with your fav tipple. Whilst hopping in and out of the hot tub. We have a rather noisy owl somewhere down the field and it’s quite funny trying to mimic him on an evening. When walking to and from the hot tub it might be wise to bring your flip flops or slippers, initially your walking on grass but then you do step onto concrete and it can be a little uncomfortable on feet. Also bear in mind, we are in our wintery months so it can get muddy in the field, so don’t forget your wellies. Other things to note iron are available upon request. This is your little bit of paradise whilst here, so if you want to bring a speaker and blast your music, that’s perfectly fine, there’s only the sheep and moles who will hear it. Also, I always make sure the wood burner in the hut is stocked up with coals and wood etc, the bbq has coals and the fire pit has logs but of course if more is needed, I have plenty here and always happy to sell you some at a very small cost. Also when booking, if you are staying because you’re celebrating a special occasion or surprising someone, please let me know, so I can add some extra little treats and notes.
