Our completely independent stone house is located along a little-traveled road; it is surrounded by trees that provide pleasant shade and overlooks the surrounding rolling countryside and a large plot of land. Guest access the house and the garden Other things to note The town of Casteljaloux, 10 km away, offers a variety of activities: local festivals, farmers' markets on Tuesday and Saturday mornings with local products and sometimes country-style meals; a lake with free access for children, games, and supervised beaches; a renowned thermal center; the Casteljaloux baths, a wellness center with treatments, pools, sauna, and hammam; a municipal swimming pool, a lakeside casino, an 18-hole golf course, the Landes forest to explore on foot or by bike; about ten kilometers away, the Canal des Deux Mers with electric boat rentals, a cycle path, and a shaded promenade; in the Gironde area, Grignols is 10 minutes from the house with its market, and further away is Bazas with its square and cathedral. For horse riding enthusiasts, Casteljaloux has an equestrian center. Lake Clarens offers swimming, water games, treetop adventures, and picnic areas.
