Characterful house in the heart of Chichester

Description

Within a few yards of central Chichester, this characterful accommodation is close to all the city and has to offer. Situated just outside the city wall, the house is a grade 2 Listed building with many characterful features including original oak beams. Bars, restaurants and shops are within a stones throw of the front door. Buses run within a hundred yards and the station is less than a mile away. The stylish and quirky double bedroom has a beautiful bathroom next door for sole use of guests. The space The house, being a listed building is over 300 years old. The front door opens directly onto the pavement. It is situated on a busy street and can be noisy with traffic and people. On entry there is a reception room that guests are welcome to use while waiting or having a drink. The bedroom is on the first floor at the front of the house and being listed has single glazed windows. The bathroom is next door and is of guests sole use. There are original beams in both rooms and both have a quirky authentic feel reflecting the age of the property. There are radiators in both rooms. The double bed is extremely comfortable and there are reading lights on both sides of the bed with integrated with phone charger sockets. Both rooms have been decorated recently. Guest access You will be able to access the double bedroom, the bathroom, stairs, hallway and front reception room. During your stay I will be at home most of the time and guests can have my phone number to contact me if there is a problem. Other things to note As the property is so central I am not offering breakfast apart from tea and coffee first thing, on request. Tea and coffee making facilities with fresh milk (cows or cashew) are available in the room. A little further along St. Pancras there is the Serendipitous bakery that offers all sorts of delicious breads and bakery products. There are tables and chairs and hot drinks on offer there. There is Carluccios a few yards away also offering various breakfasts. A full English can be purchased at Charlie Harpers. Also within a few steps are The Nags Head pub, Brasserie Blanc and the Giggling Squid. Please note there is no parking at the property. I can provide a daily permit in zone H for £4. The cheapest car park is the Market car park only 100 or so yards away. The New Park car park is even nearer but a little more pricey.
