The apartment on the 3rd floor (attic) consists of a living room, fully equipped kitchen, bedroom with double bed, shower room, hallway. The communal terraces can be used to sit outside. Central but quiet location, overlooking the countryside. The space The apartment building "Sonnenblick" is located in the center of the beautiful spa town of Rathen in the district of Niederrathen below the Bastei rocks in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains / Saxon Switzerland National Park. In the immediate vicinity, many hiking trails begin, such as the ascent to the famous bastion. Restaurants, a mini market, a bakery (in the season April-October) are within walking distance. The apartment building has 8 apartments - some with a balcony or terrace - and is well equipped for independent self-catering. The house is situated on a hillside and there are a few steps to the entrance. Pets are welcome - please specify immediately when booking (surcharge). Please inform yourself about the accommodation as well as the arrival and parking situation before booking. The district of Niederrathen is car-free due to its location in the narrow Grünbachtal and is very easy to reach for rail travelers. Enjoy the tranquility beyond car noise and the exhaust-free fresh air. For arrivals by car, parking spaces of the municipality are available at a reduced fee - please let us know your needs as soon as possible after booking. Other things to note The health resort of Rathen - especially Niederrathen - is car-free. Guests arriving by car need a parking permit from the municipality. For this we need the license plate number. With the parking permit, you may enter the village up to the parking spaces and park in the designated areas for a reduced fee. Parking is about 200-300 m from the property. A handcart for luggage transport is available. We order the parking permit for you in advance and take over the processing of the fee with the municipality. This is €5 per day, which you pay in cash on site.
