Mountain House near Lake Glenville & Cashiers

A beautiful house with 4 bedrooms + 1 bonus bedroom and game room set in the quiet Catspaw community on Hogback Mountain. Ideal location for a mountain getaway with the comforts of home but close to fun mountain towns and activities. This cottage is within 15 mins of Lake Glenville, 30 mins to Cashiers & Highlands, an hour to Smoky Mountains National Park, Cherokee and Bryson City, and 1 hour & 30 mins to Asheville. A great place to unwind in the woods and an ideal base to explore WNC. The space There are five bedrooms, 4 queens and 1 King bed. 1 large game room with a tv, sitting area, Fusball, board games and pool table. Upper and lower balcony decks, both have screened-in sitting areas. A front porch and plenty of wooded yard space with a fire pit. Cellphone service is spotty, we have found AT&T service works better than Verizon. Guest access You have access to the entire house property as well as the wooded area surrounding the house, there is a path to the outdoor firepit. Other things to note Please be aware the internet is satellite dish and this house is in the mountains with potential storms/cloudy days. We cannot guarantee strong internet for streaming as this internet is data based. We don’t recommend remote work if it requires high speed internet. Please be courteous to the neighborhood. This is a great area to take walks with your dog or family members as road traffic is minimal. Drive slowly when entering Catspaw Community (onto Gap Road) as it is a single lane dirt/gravel road. Keep in mind the car driving uphill has the right of way. 2 Dogs Max-dog fee is $150 for the stay
