The House is set on a beautiful piece of property with a yard to enjoy sitting outside in the picnic area or the covered back porch. The Enclosed Front Porch is furnished with wicker furniture to sit and read, have coffee or just take in the Natural light and watch the birds. Sparrow's Joy is a place that offers up to date amenities and comforts of home. The space This is the original homeplace (farmhouse) of my husband's Grandparents. Built in 1941 by neighbors and friends. The house has the original wood flooring exposed in the bedrooms as well as all the original wide woodtrim throughout the home. You will even see some of the original glass door knobs on the doors. A favorite hang out is on the front porch surrounded by windows and wicker furniture to take in the fresh breeze, drink lemonade and listen to the birds sing. Or you could enjoy being outside on the covered porch on the swing or even out in the yard to sit at the picnic table. In the evening you could build a fire in the little fire pit and roast marshmallows. The view of the back of the family property is breath taking especially when the sun is going up or down over the knoll. The perfect setting to unwind and relax. Guest access Guest will have access to about 1 acre of property which the house sits on for use during their stay. The surrounding property is not included other than the view. Other things to note The house has city water and a single septic tank. We ask that nothing be flushed in the toilet other than toilet paper or anything put down the drains besides water or liquids. ( No Grease or food, etc.) DOES NOT have automatic food disposal or Dishwasher.
