This is not your typical state park campground, so be prepared to come to a remote location where you may feel like a wilderness explorer through uncharted territory. This site has a large area for parking. It would be easy for a truck towing a camper to pull up to the site and park along the road. The space #16 Doves Delight is named after two turtle doves we found here. This campsite has a large fire pit for a bon fire and a large tree stump hoping to be carved into a beautiful piece of art by a chainsaw artist. This site has a large area for parking. Serious campers only. It is very remote and peaceful. The stars from here are incredible and so bright that you can see the Milky Way. The sounds of nature will surround you when the sun sets. Birds will sing their morning song and awaken you to a beautiful new day when you sleep here.
