Perfect for Two Families

Our holiday retreat has been perfectly set up to accommodate two families or a group of friends. You are on the outskirts of the village yet only a short 10 minute walk to the centre of Methven where you will find restaurants, cafes, pubs and supermarkets and only a 5 minute walk to Opuke Hot Pools. This is a warm and spacious house with incredible panoramic views of Mt Hutt and the Southern Alps. A perfect ski base, relaxing retreat or weekend country getaway. The space Our spacious home offers an amazing open plan living space to relax in and enjoy the breath taking mountain views and all day sunshine. The lovely large patio with outdoor furniture and BBQ offers the opportunity to watch the sun go down behind the mountains. The Trotting Club Racecourse is right behind the house, it’s a unique experience to watch the trotting horses train most mornings. The warm open plan kitchen, dining and living area is perfect for those chilly winter evenings. The modern kitchen is fully kitted out with all the must have appliances. It’s a great entertaining space with the dining table seating 10 people, there is also an option to dine on 4 bar stools at the kitchen peninsula. There is a large walk-in butlers pantry with open shelving for all your supplies. The two sitting room areas are ideal for families as they offer options to either be social in the open plan kitchen entertaining area and perhaps play one of our many board games or you could curl up by the gas fire and watch a movie on Netflix in the cosy sitting room. Our master bedroom has a King size bed, walk-in wardrobe and ensuite bathroom. There are 2 additional bedrooms with Queen sized beds and built in wardrobes and a Bunk Bed room for the kids, with 2 sets of bunks. There is also a large family bathroom. We offer a large Heated Drying Room to dry out and store your ski gear. We also have a table tennis table and football table to keep the kids entertained, along with a cupboard full of board games. We have 2 scooters for the kids trips into Methven to the scooter park. Guest access You will have the whole house to yourselves. Access via keypad for which I will give you the code number once the booking is confirmed. Other things to note There is space for 3 cars in the driveway. All linen and towels are supplied, hotel quality, laundered off site.
