Close to Skyline Walkway, Zealandia eco-sanctuary, Otari-Wilton's plant museum and top of Cable Car. The space The house has five bedrooms. Four upstairs and one downstairs. . Three bedrooms upstairs can have either a super king or two single beds. The beds are specially made to zip together. The fourth bedroom upstairs is smaller and has a king single. The fifth bedroom, which is downstairs, sleeps up to 3. It has a bed that can be either a super king or two single beds. It also has a single bed. 2.5 bathrooms, one an en suite to the main bedroom. There is no bathroom downstairs but there is sink and hot and cold running water in the downstairs bedroom. Two lounges one with modern large screen TV and both with modern heat pumps. Two log burners. One in each lounge and firewood to operate. A heat transfer system from lower lounge to bedrooms. A movable Dyson heater/cooler/air purifier. Selection of games, books, popular and children's DVDs and puzzles. Laptop desks in upper lounge and one bedroom. Well equipped modern kitchen with: wall oven; dishwasher; induction hob; cooking utensils; appliances like rice cooker and hotpot, and fridge freezer. Nespresso machine. Separate dining area with great views over Karori Stream gorge and bush. Table and chairs for up to 10. Child's high chair and travel cot. Large garden around house with swimming hole in stream. Glow worms at night. Lots of birds, some endangered. Guest access For bookings the entire house is available to guests, apart from some locked cupboards for storing the owner's reserve supplies. Other things to note The house is set in bush and there are streams running through the property. Children are welcome but it is not suitable for children who may wander and get lost. There is a bridge across the Karori Stream in the drive from the road to the house. There is a 2 tonne axle weight limit on the bridge. A standard car will be well below this limit but a truck or large van or large camper almost certainly will not be. Users of the bridge with larger vehicles should check its axle weight before taking the vehicle across the bridge. There is a warning sign on entry to the bridge from the road side.
