Stay comfy next to the modern wood stove to keep you warm. Located on 100 acres of serene nature, you will find this warm cabin to bask in nature. Walk, snowshoe, or ski over two kms of private hiking trails. You may see all kinds of wildlife including several species of birds (and a resident owl) deer, and wild turkeys. An unforgettable experience. The space Please note we do not offer an indoor bathroom. We want to keep our off the-grid-cabin as sustainable as possible so we built a self-composting toilet which utilizes natural peat to break down organics. This is then used to provide fertilization to our beautiful woodlot, promoting a healthy, sustainable, and thriving ecosystem. Fresh water and firewood supplied. The off the grid installation allows for lighting and cell phone charging. Gas and charcoal bbq's provided. Please bring your own charcoal. A french press and dishes and cookware provided. Enjoy the quiet evenings sitting on the covered porch or around the nearby firepit and listen to the owls or gaze at the night sky.
