Pine Ridge offers you a slower pace amid the tranquility of a secluded two acre wooded lot less than 2 hours away from NYC. Situated perfectly for outdoor admirers, we are less than 10 minutes from both Hunter and Windham mountains, and close to many Catskill attractions. We have intentionally created a space to treasure our most valuable gift, spending time with those we love. The space Pine Ridge comfortably accommodates all seasons in the Catskills, from hosting an outdoor dinner surrounded by fall foliage, to spending time in our screened porch listening to the spring peepers, novel in hand. You’ll find many details of the home sourced locally and custom made for the cabin with care. The Catskills has so much to offer: waterfalls and hiking, golf courses, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, sledding, ice skating, tubing, river picnics, fishing, zip lining, mountain biking, paddle boarding, walking and running trails. On colder days, we invite you to curl up in a plush cozy blanket by the fire with a warm hot chocolate or mulled wine in your hands after your cheeks are rosy from time enjoying the outdoors. Our fully equipped kitchen is perfect for baking up a batch of sweets, creating a picturesque après-ski spread, or celebrating a romantic occasion with several courses. Spend time soaking in the hot tub on the oversized outdoor deck gazing at the moon and catching the magic of shooting stars. Explore the surrounding area by antiquing in town, dining at farm to table restaurants, sampling local breweries and vineyards, listening to live music, indulging in spa services, or stay inside on a rainy spring day playing a board game, reading your latest find, or completing a new puzzle. Extend your stay into the week with two dedicated workspaces, as well as high speed internet. Guest access You'll have private access to the entire house and property for the duration of your stay. Other things to note Driveway: We have a gravel driveway that is relatively long and inclined. We strongly recommend a 4/all wheel drive car you are comfortable with in all weather. TV: Our television comes with Apple TV system that you can stream/airplay your device to. It is not logged into any streaming accounts. You can also plug in an HDMI cable directly. (HDMI not supplied) Air Conditioning: The Catskills in the summer is usually warm days and chilly nights. We install window units during the hottest months. Hot tub: Please note guests use hot tub at their own risk. There is a weekly hot tub service that may come to the house during your stay to ensure everything is running properly. Bunk bed: The top bunk bed has a railing, but is not suggested for children under 6. Guests use at own risk. Wood stove and fire-pit: Guests use wood stove and fire pit at their own risk. Please follow the printed instructions found underneath the wood stove. Wildlife: The cabin is nestled on a wooded lot. Please use the trash bin locks to not attract animal neighbors. Grill: We have a charcoal grill outside on the deck. Charcoal and other supplies can be purchased conveniently at local stores. There are barbecue utensils in the pantry. Guests use at own risk.
